Lighting Valley is Located three miles south of Danville on U.S. 127 in Junction City, Ky. A large 1/5 mile
clay oval is the ultimate track for Kart racing. The track is owned and operated by Ed & Vicky Hasty and is a host to
many outstanding races and several large purses. We are dedicated to providing the best racing possible in a timely manner.
Our main goal is to provide excellent racing to the racing community.
ZACK ATTACK!
Zach Pickard is from Lexington, Ky. and is 5 years old. Zach is the only Child
in the State of Kentucky with "Progeria Disease". Progeria is a rare and fatal genetic disease that causes accelerated
aging in Children. The Family is waiting on a new drug trial, and will go to Boston, where Zach will have test and treament.
"Team Lightning" and Zach's "Racing Friends" want to help!
We will be having a "Benefit
Raffle" and All Proceeds will go to "Zach"! We have the Tires that "SHAY CHAVOUS" has autographed
that he won the "$50,000 INSANE ONE" on, at Clay City. Kirby Stafford, at "Kirby's Signs & Auto Graphics"
in Danville, has donated the painted Logo on the Tires, along with the Date and "Clay City Kart Speedway". "Team
Lightning" has donated a New Clone motor, Shay has given us a new "Chavous Body", and Allen and Christy Finley
have donated 2 nights at "Best Western" in Danville. I am sure there will be plenty more items added to this list.
We appreciate what Everyone has already done!
Tickets are only $5, and the "Goodies" could amount to thousands.
